# Get Started with Exerta: Live AI Agents in 5 Minutes

> Create your Exerta account, connect a social channel, activate a pre-built AI agent, and watch it reply to comments and DMs — live in 5 minutes.

By the end of this guide, you'll have a live AI agent monitoring and responding to comments or DMs on your ads — no code required. The whole process takes about 5 minutes: you'll create a free Exerta account, connect a social channel, activate a pre-built agent, and watch it run in real time through the Live Run Logs dashboard.

  **Before you begin**, make sure you have one of the following:

  * A **Facebook Business Manager** account with admin access to at least one Page (required for Facebook and Instagram channels)
  * A **TikTok Business** account with admin access to your TikTok profile

## Steps

  <Step title="Create your account">
    Go to [app.exerta.ai/signup](https://app.exerta.ai/signup) and sign up with your email address or Google account. The free plan is activated instantly — no credit card needed. Once you're in, you'll land on the Exerta dashboard.

  <Step title="Connect a channel">
    From the dashboard, click **Connect Channel**. Choose your platform:

    * **Facebook / Instagram** — Exerta opens a Meta Business Manager authorization pop-up. Log in, select the Pages you want to connect, and grant the requested permissions. The whole flow takes about 30–60 seconds.
    * **TikTok** — Exerta redirects you through the TikTok Business API authorization flow. Log in and approve access for your TikTok profile.

    Once authorized, your channel appears in the **Channels** list and is ready for agents.

  <Step title="Turn on your first agent">
    From your connected channel, click **Add Agent** and pick a pre-built template:

    * **Comment Moderator** — Automatically hides spam and toxic comments, and replies to genuine questions and compliments in your brand voice. Available for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
    * **DM Closer** — Answers incoming DMs with context-aware replies and routes high-intent buyers toward a purchase or offer. Available for Facebook and Instagram.

    The no-code setup walks you through agent configuration step by step: choose your tone, set moderation rules (up to 7 on the Starter plan), and optionally scope the agent to a specific campaign, ad set, or individual ad using the targeting controls. When you're ready, click **Activate**. Your agent is now live.

  <Step title="Watch live run logs">
    Navigate to **Live Run Logs** in the left sidebar. You'll see a real-time feed of every action your agent takes — comments replied to, spam hidden, DMs answered, and offers delivered. As sales come in, revenue attribution appears in the log so you can track exactly what your agents are driving.
