# Facebook Integration: Automate Comments and DMs on Ads

> Connect Facebook to Exerta via Meta Business Manager to automatically reply to ad comments, answer Messenger DMs, and hide negative content in real time.

The Facebook integration lets you put your entire Facebook presence on autopilot. Once connected, Exerta monitors every comment on your Facebook ads and Pages — replying in your brand's voice, hiding spam before other buyers see it, and answering Messenger DMs around the clock. Whether you're running paid campaigns or managing an organic Page, every public comment and private message is handled the moment it arrives.

## How to connect

    In Exerta, go to **Settings → Channels**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add Facebook">
    Click **Add Channel → Facebook**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize via Meta Business Manager">
    A Meta Business Manager authorization pop-up appears. Log in with the account that manages your Facebook Pages.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select your Pages">
    Choose the Facebook Pages you want to connect to Exerta.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Grant permissions">
    Review and grant the requested permissions so Exerta can read comments, post replies, and manage messages on your behalf.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go live">
    Your Page appears in the Channels list. Agents can be activated immediately — no waiting period.
  </Step>

## Requirements

<Note>
  You must be an **admin** of the Meta Business Manager account that owns the Pages you want to connect. If you manage multiple ad accounts, you can connect Pages from each one.
</Note>

<Tip>
  Connect Instagram at the same time — it uses the same Meta Business Manager authorization and takes 30 seconds more.
